Video Production Process

Ever wonder what it takes for a video to be produced? Here’s the general run down as to how we do it at Swamp City Productions:

1. Sign you up! Obtain information to understand exactly what goals/needs are.

2. Work with you to formulate a plan for effective solutions – determine a script and shoot guidelines.

3. Begin actual video production – schedule a shoot date, obtain footage, watch

and time code footage (at this point, scripts are sometimes altered to better match the obtained footage!)

4. Final script approval takes place – voice over (if necessary) is obtained and video is edited by the Swamp City Productions team.

5. Online video screening by clients for approval/comments.

6. Modifications are made according to client comments and requests (changes in scripting, at times, do cause additional charges…but we certainly talk about them!).

7. Final video is delivered digitally for online use (as .mov and .mp4), as well as on DVD for easy offline use (for things such as trade show presentations, sales presentations, event videos, etc)

Sounds like a long process, right?

Generally we can take care of all of this within a couple weeks if that’s what your timeline calls for! Any questions, don’t hesitate to be in touch!
